I know I said I’m trying not to focus on material wants, but I couldn’t help but share the one other reason I want a garage . . .
This mountain bike semi-permanently resides in our guest bathroom shower. (My husband’s idea, not mine!)
Don’t worry, future guests, there IS a bottle of shampoo in there, so feel free to hop right in and get clean along with the bike!
Now I’m going to be in a hurry to post new content just so that this photo gets pushed down. I like my posts to look pretty, but a little dose of reality is always healthy!

At least your husband found an out of the way place to store his bike. I’m with you on wishing for a garage. We’d love one but there’s not room on our lot.

Oooh, now I’m curious – Where do you guys keep yours?

This is genius. Ethan kept his bikes in the baby’s room when we had an apartment, it drove me nuts. I wish he would have kept them in the shower!

Haha, right? I’d rather it be there than anywhere else. The other one is in an upstairs storage unit, but he’s using the mountain bike frequently enough right now to merit keeping it in the shower. 🙂

Haha! This looks like something my honey would do! LOL. He’s not into mountain biking but he is a musician and that means a LOT of equipment {instruments, chords, amps}. Ugh! We don’t have a garage either, so I feel your pain…

You know what? We did finally get a garage with this new house. And it’s a mess. I actually avoid keeping things in there if I ever hope to find them again. I always wanted a garage and thought of all the great ways to organize it and use it to the fullest potential. Then I started thinking “well maybe if I had a bigger garage….” It’s a slippery slope. I’m with you on trying to curb my material wants.

Funny!
Our extra bathroom holds our hanging laundry- another reason to wish for a back yard! :0)

Hahahaha. Where’s the “like” button?
