Is it strange to post your family’s closets online? Possibly, but I know I would be curious to see into my friends’ closets, so why not share mine? Let’s start with Trenton and Chase.
What I love about my system is MINIMAL FOLDING! As it is, I barely manage to get clean laundry put away while the boys jump all around me, so simplicity is a must. And besides, I’d rather spend my spare minutes doing things I enjoy.
The above photo is pretty self-explanatory. Trenton and Chase each have a vertical column. I bought these at Ikea, and I love being able to see everything at once when I’m choosing their outfits for the day. Jackets and shoes are at their level so that they can grab them and return them on their own. Diapers and wipes are also easily accessible.
Toward the top right are shoes that Trenton has outgrown that I’m waiting for Chase to grow into shortly. On the far right is a column of blankets and baby hygiene items (lotion, nail clippers, diaper rash cream).
And that’s it!
Next Monday—car organization! And why I love cleaning my car sooo very much.
Disclaimer: I am making myself sound so on top of it; I promise I’m NOT like this about everything! Just ask my husband, family, or friends! But where possible, I am all about efficiency, and I am happy to share the few things I do have going to for us in this household. 🙂 Thanks for reading!

So helpful. I'm looking forward to the car organization because, as a new mom with a growing child, I have no idea how to keep my car clean for even a minute. Thanks!

I love the use of vertical space. AND that you don't have a bulky dresser taking up space too… Nice!

Those stackers are the greatest things ever, and PERFECT for kid clothes that don't really need folded anyway, right! I can't wait to have a house with closets again. Love the picture and the fancy descriptions written in!
AND – please please make me excited about cleaning my car. Even when my house is well organized and spotless, my car is a disaster.

I too love the idea of no dresser. I am really impressed with the "lack" of clothing- meaning you don't have 500 shirts and pants for each of them. We get a lot of hand me downs (for which I am extremely grateful), but it's hard to keep a handle on the amount. So, out of curiosity, how many outfits do you try and keep for your boys? And how often do you have to do their laundry? If you don't mind me asking :0)

I totally got the idea of those stackers from you, so THANKS!
