I alluded to it when I talked about how productive SAHMs are…and when I reminded myself to put my family first. I think it’s about time I gave you a sneak peek at the website we’re building!
I’ve teamed up with a great developer, a fabulous graphic designer, and of course my awesome husband, and we’re excited to give people another way to enjoy and share their instagram content. Using Trread, you’ll be able to log in with instagram, choose from your photos and video clips, and quickly create montage videos that you can share with family and friends.
Everyone will have an account page (think simplified vimeo) where all your videos are stored. From there you can email or download them, share them on social media, embed in a blog post, etc.
We’ll also have a gallery, where you can view other users’ videos and get inspired to make some beautiful content of your own. You’ll be able to rank videos with a simple up or down arrow, and the best videos will rise to the top.
We have high hopes for Trread becoming a way for people to capture and share the beauty in all of our lives.
SO—get instagramming, don’t be afraid of the video feature, and prepare to make some gorgeous Trread videos once we’ve launched! I’ll keep you posted!

Yes, you’ll have to! 🙂 Were you on and opted to get off? I love instagram because, for now, I’m just sharing it with close friends and family, so it doesn’t feel as public and in-your-face as, say, Facebook does. 🙂 But one of these days I might have to start an account for Let Why Lead…
This sounds so exciting! I try not to add more than one new social media account a year. I have already hit my limit for 2013. I suspect Instagram will be next.
Haha, that is a good rule! I keep my instagram profile pretty low key, so it is absolutely zero pressure, but I do love having a way to share my kids with their aunts/uncles/cousins/grandparents since we live far away. It’s really such a fun and easy platform.
