If you have instagram, does looking at your profile make you happy? I confess I could gaze at mine for way too long. It’s an honest, unscripted portrait of my life, capturing a lot what is great about it and a little of what is nuts about it. 🙂 A month ago I decided it was time to start printing, so I could enjoy these fun snapshots around my home rather than just on the screen. I tried out a few sites and did plenty of research, and now I’d love to share my sources with you. The best part is that there are a dozen creative ways to display your photos. Just check it out—
Prints – I printed mine (for this wall hanging) through Kanvess and was so happy with the results. They do 3×3 prints with a white frame for only 25 cents each. All you have to do is log in with your instagram username and password, select your photos, and check out. It takes two minutes! Another option is the Walgreens app, which allows you to print 4×4 photos straight from your device to your nearest store.
Phone Cases – How fun would this be? As soon as I finally ditch my way-cool flip phone, I’m doing this. Castegram allows you to “shoot it, place it, and case it” for the iphone, ipad, ipod touch, and several samsung phones.
Ceramic Tiles – ImageSnap uses your instagram photos to make tiles ranging in size from 2×2 ($4) to 12×12 ($35). You can use them as wall hangings, display in a bookshelf, or use the adhesive magnet they include to turn them into refrigerator magnets. I ordered two just to try them out, and I love them! (Check them out here.) It’s such a personal—and functional!—way to display a few favorite photos. I think a package of six teeny tiles to use as refrigerator magnets would make a fantastic gift!
Stickers – I don’t have any real reason to order these except that a mini sticker book of my own life sounds awesome! But who knows, maybe stickers would come in handy if your child were running for student council . . . Or if you just want to decorate your laptop. 🙂 Whatever your reason, here are two sticker sources: Printstagram and Artflakes.
Minibooks – From the Printstagram app, you can make “tinybooks” (3 for $10) or a “minibook” (100 photos spiralbound for $12). Both are adorable. I could see my children being quite entertained at church flipping through a couple of these!
Posters – Printstagram, Firebox, and Photodog make posters that you can either pin to the wall as is or frame. Firebox does a 16-photo collage for about $30. My next project is to print and frame a small poster for my husband’s office. I’ll be sure to post about it once I have it in hand! (For another blogger’s review of Photodog, hop over to The Weekend File.)
Polaroids – For a retro look, Origrami prints double-sided polaroids—image on one side, with map/links/number of likes on the other. They can print the map of the photo’s location if you’ve geotagged it. For more info on instagram’s photo mapping, check here. This feature would be especially great if you were printing a series of photos from a destination vacation.
So tell us—Have you tried any instagram printing? We’d all love to hear your experience!

Lots of great ideas here. Thanks for putting this post together. 😉 How do I find you on Instagram? I’m @gracefullintentions.
Erica {let why lead}
I should have mentioned that I’m a weirdo who isn’t ready to go public with insta yet. 🙂 For now I just follow and am followed by family – That way I can post as ridiculously many pictures of my kids as I want and not feel stupid. 🙂 Maybe I should set up a separate one for Let Why Lead! Is that what you did?

Oh, sorry… You’ve probably told me that before, but it slipped my mind. Anyway, my Instagram is for both my blog and my personal use. Which means that I do post photos of my Little Man, but I also post other random pictures, too. I have an app on my phone {afterglow} that I use to capture pictures of my son that I don’t want to put on Instagram; just because I don’t want my feed to be all about my son. I haven’t created two separate accounts yet for simplicity reasons, but it may be a viable option for you. It would allow your readers to take peak into your life without you having to post your kids all the time. It would be more to manage, but it may work well.

Another option is magnets! I used stickygram to order some magnets for Christmas, and I absolutely LOVE them. Thanks for these links too– I want to have some prints, and I love the idea of a minibook.
