I’m enjoying one of those sublime motherhood moments where the kids are happy and the sun is warm.
I’ve spent the last half an hour brainstorming some upcoming marriage posts in a notebook while sitting on the patio, watching the boys play in that tub of moonsand. Chase, the younger one, has now moved on to pretending his trike is a dump truck, but Trenton (the harder to entertain of the two) has been going strong in the “sandbox” for thirty minutes. Yay for novelty and good ol’ fashioned planning ahead!
*By the way, in case you want to make moonsand, the writer lists “cornflour” as an ingredient when I believe she means “cornstarch.” Worked like a charm for us! Especially once I added a couple of mini-monster trucks to the mix. 🙂Â

Yay for moonsand! Looks like your boys are having a great time! Can’t wait to read your marriage posts. 😉

Genius! I can’t wait for Sierra to be old enough to do fun things like this! (and entertain herself for more than 5 minutes…)

The boys are adorable, and I am glad you have a few moments to yourself to just soak in the moment!
