We’re home from a wonderful trip to Utah! We stayed for five nights with my family and five nights with Ryan’s. We spent most of the days trying to beat the heat, visiting water parks and indoor pools, playing in kiddie pools and shooting squirt guns. Ryan and I almost forgot what it is like to be real, full-on parents! The boys had cousins to entertain them, and Quinn had aunts and grandmas lining up to feed her bottles and snuggle her. I think the fact that I’m  currently borderline-depressed about being home means we had a fantastic time away! 🙂 760 miles separate us from our nearest family, and clearly, that is just too far!
While we were in Utah, Ryan gave Quinn a name and blessing, which is customary in the Mormon faith. It was a beautiful blessing that gave us a glimpse of the big spirit she has and the kind of life she is capable of leading. My goodness I love that girl. (And those three boys.)
Doesn’t she look sweet in that little angel dress?
And of course I had to snap a shot of our matching gold sandals!
It’s good to be back, and I can’t wait to get back into the blogging mindset! Thanks for reading, and have a happy fourth of July!

I love that picture of you and Quinn’s gold sandals! So sweet. I’m so glad we could all be together, even if it was crazy! And I love that little, sweet baby Quinn. Miss and love you all.
