Fantastic quote, right?
I go through stretches where not much of what I read on the internet really speaks to me, followed by stretches where everything I read sets me on fire! It’s feast or famine, I tell ya. 🙂
Today I’m sharing some recent reads that have set me on fire—I hope they do the same for you!
My friend Katie is doing an amazing series on honoring your soul, and I found myself nodding vigorously to everything she said in this post about yoga. I’m not a yogi, but I’ve been doing a barre class that has its roots in yoga and pilates, so I know what she means. It feels amazing to leave a class feeling strong in both body and mind. Plus, you can do yoga at home AND with your kids! So many options! Anyway, read Katie’s post and be inspired. 🙂
Where Do Donated Clothes Really Go
My people, I have not stopped thinking about this post. If I wasn’t already a minimalist, this post nudged me another step in that direction. I feel like it’s information every woman should have. And while you’re at it, read this piece: Buying Begets Buying: How Stuff Has Consumed the Average American’s Life. Darn stuff.
BEST thing about this article? It’s arranged by love language. If you know (or suspect) your child’s love language, this is a fantastic resource.
The Best Thing You Can Do For Yourself—and All the Women Around You
THIS ARTICLE. It articulately sums up everything I’ve been thinking lately about womanhood. We have so many options that we are almost paralyzed by our decisions. Let’s (myself included!) spend less time looking over our shoulders and more time with our heads focused on the work we’ve chosen to do. Because it’s GREAT work!
Thanks so much for being here this week! I so appreciate each of you for being part of the Let Why Lead community. I LOVE getting to know you, both here and on social media. You have a beautiful weekend!
